PhD Student, University of Edinburgh
I completed my Bachelors and Masters in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, in 2018. I am now pursuing a PhD in the Institute for Multiscale Thermofluids at the University of Edinburgh since September 2018.
I am working on understanding and developing models to predict slip in nanochannel flows, to then apply these models in creating new, efficient desalination membranes. I am also working on ion-rejection using charged nanoscale membranes for water filtration. Both these projects are primarily simulation based, using the molecular dynamics method for simulating the nanoscale phenomena.
