Prof. Duncan Lockerby

University of Warwick

Duncan leads the current ESPRC Programme Grant “Nano-Engineered Flow Technologies: Simulation for Design across Scale and Phase”. His research interests lie in: multiscale modelling; microfluidics and nanofluidics; microscale (rarefied) gas dynamics; flow control and drag reduction; and biological fluid mechanics.

Biography

Duncan Lockerby is Professor in the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick. He is Head of Fluid Dynamics and Multiscale Modelling. He has been at Warwick since 2006, moving from Brunel Univesity and King’s College London.
