On the evening of Tuesday 26 February, I gave a talk entitled "Molecular Engineering: technology 'down the rabbit hole'" to the Kilmarnock Engineering & Science Society. This is a popular local group that holds regular evening talks on topical issues in science and engineering. The typical audience is a broad range of the public, from school students through to retired people. Jason's talk included discussion of radiometers, Knudsen pumps, multiscale flows, supercomputing, desalination using nanotubes, traffic, and space vehicle aerodynamics. He presented results and videos generated from our research groups. There was a great deal of interest from the audience, and plenty of good questions at the end.
