ICNMM 2014

This week, I am attending my first international conference – the International conference on nanochannels, microchannels, and minichannels (ICNMM), in Chicago – along with Dr. Duncan Lockerby.

Today, I presented our recent work on a multiscale method for the efficient simulation of nanofluidic networks of arbitrary complexity (you can read the whole paper here), which got a very positive reception. So, tonight we'll be celebrating this occasion by experiencing a bit more of Chicago, which so far has included a lot of craft ale, a smashing skyline, a giant mirrored bean,

and for some reason bacon-and-cheese-imbued cocktails.
