Marangoni flow of Binary Mixtures on a Liquid Layer

Here is an interesting article about Marangoni Bursting. This is the link of the Youtube video. In this work, researchers focused on the instability observed when a two-component drop of water and volatile alcohol was deposited on a bath of sunflower oil. The drop temporarily spread and spontaneously broke up into thousands of tiny droplets. They also demonstrated that Marangoni flows induced by the evaporation of alcohol played a key role in the overall phenomenon.
